As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations. From managing inventory and coordinating shipments to leading and motivating a team of warehouse associates, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our warehouse facility.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Ensure accurate receiving, storage, and distribution of products, maintaining optimal inventory levels at all times.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure work environment for all warehouse personnel.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, monitor productivity, and optimize workflows.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, meeting customer demands and delivery deadlines.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in a warehouse or stockroom required with at least 3 years of experience in warehouse management or supervision, preferably in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve common goals.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping/receiving, inventory control, and safety protocols.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with team members, vendors, and customers.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
