We’re searching for an Inventory Control Lead to join our growing Logistics team and play a key role in driving our vision forward.
What You’ll Do:
As an Inventory Control Lead, you will be at the heart of our supply chain operations, providing strategic oversight and management of inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and efficiency. You’ll:
- Develop schedules, assign tasks, analyze, and report results. Perform random sample and ABC cycle counting.
- Conduct regular audits to verify inventory data, reconcile counts with system records, and address discrepancies.
- Investigate root causes and implement actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Lead, coach, and motivate warehouse staff. Train and develop team members on best practices and procedures.
- Implement and maintain accurate inventory systems, conduct stock audits, and ensure timely inventory transactions.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with health and safety regulations and company policies. Participate in safety training and audits.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements, reduce costs, and enhance service quality. Develop policies for accurate inventory levels.
- Collaborate with departments like Production, Quality Assurance, and Logistics for seamless operations and timely order fulfillment.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to senior management. Generate and distribute daily cycle count reports.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. BA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of inventory, stockroom, and/or warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Minimum of 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience with ERP environments and planning in database tools required.
- Leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Detailed oriented
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks, including budgeting and report generation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex issues.
- Goal-oriented and the ability to prioritize on a consistent basis in an ever-changing environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- This position may require evening, weekend or other shift work depending on the customer and business needs.
