As a Production Assembler III, you will:
- Assemble electrical or electronic devices or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, casings while using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment.
- Explain assembly procedures, processes, or techniques to other Assemblers.
- Position, align, adjust workpieces, or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
- Perform functional test procedures as appropriate
- Read and comprehend a bill of materials and drawings
- Perform set-ups using basic tools, jigs, and tests
- Review equipment protocols necessary within setup with a sense of complexity
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of testing, repair, and manufacturing procedures and systems.
- Proficiency in electro-mechanical assembly and soldering (through-hole and surface mount) using hand tools, such as air drivers and torque drivers.
- Strong understanding of schematics and assembly drawings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the role.
- Experience: Familiarity with testing, repair, and manufacturing procedures is highly desirable.
- Initiative to identify problems and implement solutions.
- A collaborative mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Dedication to maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines.
- Manufacturing setting with moderate noise levels.
- Physical activities include sitting, standing, typing, and occasional lifting.
