Luminator is seeking to fill our full-time Financial Analyst role to join our growing and dynamic Finance team where you will be an integral part of the team by providing valuable input as we work toward assessing and implementing goals and mission of the department and Luminator. Summary:   

Luminator is seeking a Financial Analyst who is committed to transparency, diversity, teamwork, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. This role will be responsible for managing financial tools & resources, including cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, financial reporting and variance analysis, and organizational risk. This role will manage liquidity for daily operations, develop and execute strategies to mitigate financial risks, and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and stakeholders. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will work with Operations to advise on scenario analyses, partner with FP&A to analyze market trends, and provide valuable insights to support informed financial decision-making within the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The successful candidate will have the ability to challenge the organization effectively, resolve problems, and willing to provide a hands-on approach in finding solutions.   • Cash Management: Monitor and forecast daily cash positions, manage cash flow, and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Banking Relationships: Maintain relationships with banking partners, negotiate banking fees, and explore opportunities for cost-effective financial services.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks through analysis and implementation of hedging strategies, including foreign exchange and interest rate risk.
  • Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities and other capital spend and recommend strategies to maximize returns while managing risks within defined policies.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, prepare accurate and timely financial reports, and assist in audits related to treasury operations.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, develop forecasts, and provide insights into key financial metrics to support decision-making processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The Financial Analyst will be an experienced, operationally oriented professional who can successfully lead as a very hands-on Analyst to scale for additional growth and maximize potential.

This professional will possess:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline is required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience in treasury, finance, or related field.
  • Experience working in finance within manufacturing preferred.
  • CTP, CFA, or related professional certification(s) preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities to articulate financial concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams in multiple geographies across varying time zones.
  • Experience working with databases and retrieving information from information systems.
  • A proven track record of time-management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements in detail.
  • Ability to work, communicate, and collaborate with personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems.
