Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician provides onsite troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support for Luminator’s hardware and software solutions. This role ensures high-quality customer service through reactive and preventative maintenance, documentation of service activities, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform onsite troubleshooting and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Support customers via phone, email, and onsite visits, providing solutions for technical issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and document all service activities for reporting and billing.
- Program customer databases upon request.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, software development) to address customer needs and bug fixes.
- Manage spare parts usage and maintain a tidy work environment.
- Provide feedback to improve operational processes and support other areas within the local office when required.
- Participate in on-call, onsite, and remote support as designated.
- Occasional regional or interstate travel may be required.
Requirements
- Basic technical education, preferably in electronics or IT.
- Min. 2 years of experience in similar position.
- Experience working with ticketing system.
- Understanding of network communication at the software level.
- Customer-oriented with a high standard of workmanship.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and workload management.
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence.
