The organization is seeking a Programmer Analyst / Syteline Developer to support the on-premise ERP system - SyteLine V10.

Summary:   
The Programmer Analyst / Syteline Developer is responsible for being a developer and administrator for SyteLine reporting the Global ERP Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide knowledge and understanding as a technical expert of Syteline. 
  • Maintain and automate key tasks to ensure SyteLine is running optimally. 
  • Troubleshoot SyteLine errors and performance issues as they arise. 
  • Perform database management software systems upgrades. 
  • Develop schedules, priorities; determine timelines and resources needed for product changes. 
  • Responsible for reporting, database management, upgrade testing, patching, and support. 
  • Design and implement system personalization and customization as needed by departments. 
  • Encodes, tests, debugs, and installs the operating programs and procedures in coordination with computer operations and user departments. 
  • Drive the customization and adaptation of existing reports using SSRS and Mongoose Flex Reporting. 
  • Setup and provide enduser training and support for Syteline modules and forms. 
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to current and future Syteline system requirements to meet organizational needs. 
  • Update and document all internal procedures related to the use of SyteLine. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must have Strong T-SQL using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 or higher
  • Must have .NET application / solution development experience.
  • Must have Microsoft (SSRS) Report creation and modification.
  • Must have good understanding of Stored Procedures in SQL server 2008 R2 or higher
  • Syteline version 10 onwards, hands on experience and knowledge of development platform (Mongoose) or .NET using Win Studio / Visual Studio as well as Flex Report
  • Manufacturing background preferred. 
  • Basic knowledge of Server admin, Active Directory, security procedures in enterprise environment.
  • Must be able to create and maintain barcode printer labels, using BarTender or SSRS. Must be able to work with the networked thermal printers that print these labels.

Education/Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science prefered
  • 3+ years of programming experience supporting an ERP system – Syteline preferred
  • Manufacturing environment preferred
