IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and optimization of our organization's server infrastructure. This role will involve troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing servers, implementing security measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our technology systems. 

Your responsibilites 
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and maintenance to ensure system integrity and security.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively address potential  problems.  Implement and maintain system backup and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Administer and maintain servers to ensure optimal performance and security, including physical and virtual servers. Troubleshoot server issues and implement necessary solutions.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, including software installation, configuration, and issue resolution.
  • Train employees on best practices for using company systems and tools.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols, including user access controls and firewall configurations.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches promptly, Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Generate regular reports on system performance and incidents for management review.
  • Collaborate with IT team members on various projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and technology integrations.
  • Assist in evaluating and recommending new technologies and solutions to enhance system performance.

Your Profile
  • Computer Science degree, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
  • Min. 5 years experience as a Systems Adminstrator or in a smiliar role, in Windows environment.
  • Advanced communicatoin skills in Polish and English. 
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. 
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms preferred.
  • Experience with cybersecurity practices and tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Availability to spend up to 3 months in Ulm, Germany for an onboarding.
