At our Pruszcz Gdański site, we are seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our team supporting EMEA and APAC region. Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly consolidation of actual financials from Group entities to generate business unit analysis.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) in line with Group policies.
- Monitor and evaluate operating results against budget, conducting in-depth analysis and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Develop long-term forecasts and scenario analyses to support strategic planning.
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis, covering sales performance, contribution margin, standard costs, and operational expenses, while identifying key trends impacting financial outcomes.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts to ensure financial alignment.
- Provide support on key strategic projects.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of OKRs and KPIs to drive performance.
- Create reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI to enhance financial visibility.
- Facilitate the implementation of FP&A tools, supporting automation and efficiency in reporting processes.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Work alongside external auditors to ensure accurate and timely year-end closing and reporting.
- Establish and refine financial policies and procedures to uphold data integrity and accuracy.
Your Profile:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying discrepancies, investigating root causes, and deriving meaningful conclusions.
- A keen interest in understanding business operations and financial dynamics.
- Commitment to process improvement and implementing valuable changes.
- Min. 3 years of experience in FP&A.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including the creation of reports and dashboards.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modelling and analysis.
- Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and formulate business recommendations.
- Strong communication skills in presenting financial analysis in a clear, stakeholder-friendly manner.
- A proactive and collaboarative mindset focused on optimizing processes and embracing automation.
- Expertise in variance analysis and scenario planning to support strategic decisions.
- Adaptability in navigating changing business environments.
- High level of responsibility and accountability in meeting deadlines and delivering accurate financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Polish and English.
- Experience working with ERP, ideally Infor LN.
