Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate a compelling global product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and industry insights to identify growth opportunities and prioritize product features.
- Customer-Centric Requirements: Conduct global market research and gather customer insights to understand user needs and pain points. Translate these insights into clear product requirements and specifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global engineering, design, and other teams to ensure alignment throughout the product development process. Foster a culture of collaboration and agility.
- End-to-End Product Development: Drive the global product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products within budget constraints.
- Exceptional User Experience: Advocate for user-centric design principles, working with design teams to create intuitive and visually engaging interfaces.
- Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor the global competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats, refining strategies to maintain differentiation.
- Go-to-Market Excellence: Develop and execute global go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and promotional plans in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
- Performance Optimization: Establish KPIs to measure product success, gather user feedback, and drive iterative improvements to maximize impact.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage products through their entire lifecycle, making data-driven decisions about updates, upgrades, and retirement strategies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and concise updates to global leadership, highlighting product milestones, challenges, and successes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required.
- 6+ years in software product management, preferably with cloud-hosted software (Azure, AWS, Google, etc.) and digital content or IoT device management.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and communication protocols (wired, wireless, TCP/IP).
- Knowledge of marketing strategies, sales techniques, and customer experience principles.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, synthesize data, and develop innovative solutions.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication abilities (written and verbal) to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English.
- MBA or master’s degree in technology.
- Regulatory and compliance knowledge for hardware products.
- Familiarity with product analytics, data visualization tools, and user experience design principles.
- Proven success launching innovative products and staying ahead of industry trends.
