Frontend Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Software Engineer to join our Software Platform team. You will play a key role in developing the Luminator Suite, which includes both a web app for displaying passenger information and a content and fleet management portal for backend operations. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, and Azure DevOps is essential. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Linux, Git, and Cypress is a plus

Your reponsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and develop software solutions.
• Transform UX/UI designs into functional, high-quality code, with a focus on user experience and aesthetics. 
• Develop and maintain a responsive, efficient, and scalable web interface.
• Seek opportunities for system enhancements and refactoring.
• Implement responsive web applications.
• Integrate RESTful API connections to backend systems.
• Craft quality mockups and prototypes.
• Work closely with back-end developers and designers to enhance user experience.
• Uphold graphic standards and ensure brand consistency.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, ensuring high code coverage.
• Stay informed on the latest industry technologies and best practices.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Develop automatic tests using tools such as Cypress.

Your profile

• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Front-end developer.
• Proven track record in building Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Typescript.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog management.
• Sound knowledge of web development tools and languages.
• Experience building high-performance, responsive web applications.
• Familiarity with Angular.
• Experience in UX/UI design and having good eye for design.
• BSc degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with Linux in both development and production environments.
• Experience with automated unit testing and tools such as Cypress.
• Familiarity with PrimeNG is an advantage.
• Proficient understanding of version control tools, preferably Git.
• Experience working with web sockets and MQTT is a plus.
