We are currently looking for a Configuration Specialist with German to create and maintain customer-specific software configurations for passenger information systems and displays.
What you will do:
- Ensure production-ready configurations are delivered accurately and on time to support manufacturing and customer projects.
- Act as the interface between Production, SBO, Planning, Development, and Technical Support for all configuration-related activities.
- Support the standardization and continuous improvement of configuration processes and tools.
- Creation and validation of production-ready configurations using LAWO, iCenter, Mobitec, Luminator Suite, and related software platforms.
- Accurate configuration documentation and traceability maintained in Infor LN and internal systems.
- Timely delivery of configuration packages to Production to meet customer order schedules.
- Resolution of configuration issues through close collaboration with Development, Technical Support, and Project Teams.
- Creating How-To-Do Articles.
- Fluent English and German skills are a must.
What we are looking for:
- Basic technical education, preferred in the electronics or IT sector.
- First experience working with software configuration, system integration, or technical production environments.
- Professional experience in after sales would be an asset.
- Experience with customer-specific data management and software deployment.
- Previous experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or technical project teams.
- Experience with ERP systems and technical documentation processes is preferred.
- Structured working combined with hands on mentality.
- Knowledge of software configuration tools and passenger information systems or experience in a bus shop floor would be an asset.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Infor LN), data structures (XML, CSV), and
- Understanding of display technologies, destination systems, and vehicle
- Fluent Polsih, English and German is a must.
