Field Service Technician - San Diego

- Conduct on-site customer service visits, preventative maintenance, and day-to-day repairs.
- Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions while collaborating with manufacturers and field personnel.
- Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage multiple assignments and respond to technical challenges with a calm, problem-solving approach.
- Travel domestically (up to 25%) for retrofits, startups, and troubleshooting projects.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency with electrical systems, automotive wiring, voltmeters, and small tools.
- Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal skills to handle demanding situations and deliver exceptional service.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose, resolve, and communicate complex technical issues effectively.
- Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of technical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent (AS degree and A+ certification preferred).
- Familiarity with tools like MathWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Visual Basic, and SCADA software is a plus.
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
